This is my first real attempt at doing anything in Photoshop and I'm quite happy with the result. I know that I had a comment from a visitor saying that they didn't like vivid colour against black and white but I quite like it in this case, I think it really emphasises the beauty and makes what would be an average photo in colour look quite spectacular. Not sure how this little fella will do over the next few days, it's forecast to snow here! Hopefully if it does I'll get some pretty awesome shots; I look forward to sharing them with you.

That was me ;-). My preference is for subtle selective desaturation when I do it, but remember that's just my preference, others really like a dramatic treatment.
