I took this on the way back from a night-out in Durham last night, it was set to slow shutter speed and I must've moved it, hence the wavy street lights, but in a way I think it looks quite cool. Minor sharpening and saturation increase applied in Picasa.

This is just one of those shots that are interesting experiments or "accidents" in this case (you mentioned not realizing that you must of moved making the light trails) that turn out fun.
